Experience the elegance of Japanese glassmaking with the Toyo-Sasaki HS Usuyo Highball Glass Gift Set, featuring two beautifully crafted glasses that combine delicate aesthetics with everyday durability.

Part of the Usuyo (薄葉) collection, these highball glasses feature a finely textured surface reminiscent of gently rippling water. The intricate, hammered-like finish catches and refracts light, creating a subtle shimmer that enhances the appearance of any beverage.

Despite their delicate, lightweight appearance, the glasses are made using Toyo-Sasaki's HS (Hard Strong) technology, an ion-strengthening process designed to improve durability while maintaining a refined, thin-walled profile.

Each glass features a gently flared rim with Toyo-Sasaki's Cold Cut finish, providing a smooth, comfortable drinking experience. The tall, elegant silhouette is ideal for serving Japanese highballs, beer, sparkling water, or refreshing iced beverages.

Beautifully presented as a pair in a traditional Japanese-style wooden gift box, this set makes a thoughtful gift for whisky enthusiasts, special occasions, or anyone who appreciates Japanese craftsmanship.

Toyo-Sasaki Glass Company represents a legacy of excellence in Japanese glassware manufacturing, born from the merger of two of Japan's oldest and most respected glass companies: Toyo Glass (established in 1878) and Sasaki Glass (established in 1902). This historic union in 2002 marked the beginning of a new chapter in Japan's glassware industry, combining over a century of craftsmanship, innovation, and tradition.

Located in Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture (near Tokyo), Toyo-Sasaki Glass has become the largest glassware manufacturer in Japan, renowned for its high-quality, durable, and beautifully designed products. The company’s expertise lies in blending traditional techniques with cutting-edge technology, creating glassware that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

In 1967, Toyo-Sasaki revolutionized the industry with the introduction of the HS (Hard Strong) range, Japan’s first toughened glass drinkware brand. The HS series quickly became the industry standard, celebrated for its exceptional durability, scratch resistance, and elegant design. For over 50 years, the HS brand has been a trusted choice in Japan’s food service and hospitality sectors, earning a reputation for reliability and innovation.

Today, Toyo-Sasaki continues to produce some of the most recognizable and dependable glassware in Japan, catering to both commercial and household needs. From traditional Japanese tea cups to modern barware, Toyo-Sasaki’s products reflect a deep respect for craftsmanship and a commitment to quality that has stood the test of time.

Whether it’s the iconic HS toughened glassware or their beautifully crafted tableware, Toyo-Sasaki remains a symbol of Japanese artistry and innovation, bringing a touch of elegance and durability to every table.

At Seifuu Creations, we take pride in offering high-quality glassware, including both handcrafted and machine-made pieces. While we strive for consistency, due to the nature of glass manufacturing, slight variations in color, size, weight, texture, and thickness may occur. These natural variations, particularly in handmade items, highlight the craftsmanship and uniqueness of each piece and are not considered defects.
