Meet Pepatto-san, a playful collection of foldable paper puppets designed by COCHAE and produced by Bitokko (備凸工) in Japan.
The name Pepatto-san comes from “paper puppet” — a simple paper character that can be freely folded and shaped into all kinds of poses. Bend the arms and legs, stand them up, sit them down, or create your own playful scenes.
The blank paper surface also invites creativity. Draw a face, create a portrait of someone special, add patterns and colours, or write a personal message to turn each Pepatto-san into a unique little character. They’re fun as a paper craft, a small decorative object, or a creative way to give someone a handwritten message.

About Bitokko × COCHAE
Bitokko (備凸工) is a Japanese paper-product brand created by Okayama-based design unit COCHAE together with the printing division of Onishi Shoten, a printing workshop established in Bizen, Okayama in 1920.
COCHAE is a Japanese design unit known for its philosophy of “Playful Design.” Since 2003, the studio has explored new ways of enjoying paper through graphic origami, toys, stationery and other playful objects.

Shipping & Returns
