Crafted by Yozan Kiln (与山窯) of Tsujiyo Porcelain in Arita, this elegant octagonal plate features the traditional Gosu Akae (呉須赤絵) style, with each decorative motif carefully painted by hand. The vivid red overglaze decoration creates a warm and celebratory character, while the hand-painted details give every piece subtle individuality.
Its gently raised rim and shallow depth make it particularly versatile for small side dishes, pickles, fruit and appetisers, as well as dishes with a small amount of sauce or broth. As each piece is hand-painted, slight variations in colour and brushwork are natural. Small iron spots or occasional traces of pigment may also occur as characteristics of the production process. To preserve the overglaze decoration, gentle hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended.

Shipping & Returns
We take great care in packaging our ceramics to minimize the risk of damage during transit. If your item arrives damaged, please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage for resolution. Due to the delicate nature of ceramics, we do not accept returns or exchanges on used items unless they are defective upon arrival.
